Hi there,

Does anyone have any information on crossing from Vietnam into China via an overland route? I am planning to cross at Dong Dang, then ride through China as far as Hong Kong. I've been getting mixed reports from my research about how easy it is to get a visa for this - many people say I need an outward bound flight booked from China, which obviously I won't have as I'm planning to cycle in and out.

Any help much appreciated!
