Sign in time
Soumis par Brian D le jeu, 2012-02-09 02:09
Each time I re-enter the site I have to sign in again. While that isn`t a big deal, I would prefer to stay signed in on my home computer, if possible. But I don`t see any way to change that setting. Am I missing something, or is that just how it works?

I will look into this
I have had the "stay logged in" feature turned off since the day I found a computer logged into Warmshowers in a remote hotel in Panama :-) By default Drupal, the technology we use for the website, has either "stay logged in for a certain amount of time" or "log out when browser is closed", neither is really right. The familiar "keep me logged in for x amount of time" would be nicer. I see that the Persistent Login module might give us this, so I'll take a look.

Okie dokie. I can see how
Okie dokie. I can see how that would be an issue- if there`s ever an option in the future, I`ll change my preferences, otherwise I`ll just keep logging in. Thanks for the answer.

Persistent Logins enabled
I've enabled the Persistent Login module, which allows you to click a checkbox on computers where you want to stay logged in.
Cool! I hope it doesn`t
Cool! I hope it doesn`t cause any problems like the issue you noted earlier and you`ll be able to keep it that way.
Thanks, guys : )
