pictures
I was trying to post more than one picture on my profile but couldn't. The format is as stipulated. Is it normal?
Only one picture on an account
Sorry this is so slow in coming!
Only one picture per user account.
You can change the picture by uploading a new one. However, you may have to clear the cache in your browser before you see the new one appear (everybody else should see it right away, but it's often cached on your own browser.)
Searching Palestine
Hi, I'm currently cycling in both Israel & the West Bank. The issue here may only be that there are no warm showers hosts to show up in the west bank, but I have found that I am not able to search specifically. I'm not interested in bring up any political debate, but I've noticed that there is no Palestine, West Bank, Palestinian Territories, or Gaza marked on the countries list to search from. If someone is the west bank wants to host will they be included under Israel? If so, perhaps this could be marked for clarity. If not, perhaps a 'Palestanian Territories' tab could be added? The short answer is that you should look under "Israel" for warmshowers members in the Palestinian Territories (West Bank and Gaza). Besides the map don't forget that you can also get a list of active members by selecting the "List members on one page" link (http://www.warmshowers.org/member_list)
We utilize Google Maps technology for the map we have on the warmshowers website and our membership database is configured to synch with it too. Because Google Maps is organized this way we are too (hence we can't just add the "Palestinian Territories" to the list of countries).

Ok thanks Kevin, I will give that a shot now. I've also discovered since I've been here why Israel and Palestine don't show up with road and city information in google maps through other websites (ie couchsurfing, warmshowers), something to do with the one big mapping company in Israel controling the information.
